With the upcoming Bukit Purmei Repair & Redecoration Works, residents can look forward to a host of new and improved amenities in their Estate. It aims to improve the physical and social environment of the Estate, and bring about a more prominent precinct from its surrounding neighbours.

Much will be done to enhance the Precinct’s appearance. The new block painting will breathe new colors in the Estate, provision of entrance and directional signages will provide character and better facilitates residents to mingle within the Estate, and the revitalization of commercial blocks at 109 and 112 with new landscaping, wider and barrier free pedestrian mall will inject more vibrancy into the Estate.

The upcoming Bukit Purmei Repair and Redecoration Works will also bring about a more healthy and interactive community. The existing Hillock Park will be upgraded with new futsol court, jogging track, community pavilion and ramps inter-connecting different park facilities, to promote healthy lifestyles and community bonding among residents of all ages. Further improvements such as the upgrading of all existing games courts in the Estate and the provision of new hard court for Tai Chi activities at Blk 114, expansion of hard area at Blk 110 open field and existing dog run will definitely breathe new life and activities into the estate.

Above all, Bukit Pumei Ville will also be an inclusive elder-friendly and barrier-free place, one that allows older and disabled persons to integrate with the wider community, lead active lives and maintain essential links to friends and family. With the provision of apron ramps within building and new ramps at Blk 103 & 104, Blk 107 & 108, and ramps at Hillock Park, seniors and the wheelchair bound residents will have a safe and unhindered travel passage, starting from their flats to shops, recreational and communal facilities around Bukit Purmei Ville. The provision of barrier-free accessibility (BFA) features will be also provided in an integrated fashion so that user will not be impeded in moving across different domains, such as buildings-to-buildings and roads-to-buildings.
